Beloved Greenpoint bakery Ovenly is opening its first Manhattan outpost at UrbanSpace Vanderbilt — that giant food hall going in just north of Grand Central this summer. Ovenly baker and co-owner Erin Patinkin tells Eater that "We are delivering from Greenpoint multiple times a day....We will have our standards, but also seasonal specials just for Vanderbilt." On that specials list, expect savory items like parmesan-black pepper scones with tomato jam, goat cheese, and arugula, and roasted zucchini, garlic scape, and ricotta slab pie.  Ovenly will also be serving sweets like nectarine, blueberry, and vanilla bean slab pie.

Ovenly will be in good company at the all-day market. The roster of around 20 or so vendors includes Red Hook Lobster Pound, Amali, gelateria A.B. Biagi, Mimi's Hummus, and Daniel Delaney's fried chicken shop, Delaney Chicken, among others. Oh, and that rumored Roberta's outpost? It's still just a rumor, but a strong one at that.

The opening date for the market still hasn’t been officially set, but it’s looking like it will finally open its doors in very late July or early August.

In the meantime, watch Ovenly owners Erin Patinkin and Agatha Kulaga make buttercream sandwich cookies:
