CHELSEA — Tre Dici steak house was forced to shutter last last month when the DOB ordered everyone out of the building for safety reasons, and it doesn't look like its coming back. A note posted in the window explains the situation and says it's because of construction "next door," though neither of the adjacent buildings appear to be under construction, says a tipster.
EAST VILLAGE — Italian restaurant Perbacco has been closed recently, it's website is down and it's not taking any reservations on OpenTable, notes EV Grieve. The restaurant closed last year for a bit for remodeling, but this seems like a different situation.
LOWER EAST SIDE — Year-old ramen-ya Ochado has been dark for two months, according to Bowery Boogie. Back in May, the team tweeted that they would be closed for a day to fix a piping issue, but never reopened. This is actually the shop's second shutter. It closed down for a few months last year, so it's possible they'll reopen again.
EAST VILLAGE — Tiny taco shop meets boutique La Lucha has packed it in on Avenue A, says EV Grieve. The team says in a tweet that they are headed to Brooklyn, however, there's a marshall's sign on their door, which is never a good sign.
INWOOD — After 22 years in business, Irish Eyes owner Chris Doherty couldn't renegotiate the lease for his Irish bar, forcing the pub to shutter late last month, according to DNAinfo.
GREENPOINT — And finally, file this under "temporary shutter" : It looks like Greenpoint brunch favorite Brooklyn Label is taking a long summer break.
