Gwyneth Paltrow's Favorite NYC Restaurants Aren't Exactly Cleanse Material

And in GP's world, all the Momofuku's are the same, except for that one up in Midtown.

Actress/GOOP guru/Martha Stewart's arch enemy Gwyneth Paltrow recently published a list of her top 13 favorite restaurants in New York City. The GP 13, as it's called (they say imitation is the highest form of flattery), is not, shockingly enough, a who's who of the city's most expensive juice shops and raw food restaurants. Instead, it includes restaurants like Danny Meyer's always excellent Gramercy Tavern, Ed Schoenfeld and Joe Ng's peking duck shrine Decoy, and Mario Batali's Spanish spot, Casa Mono. It also includes all of the Momofuku restaurants except Ma Peche lumped together as one – because you've been to one East Village Momo you've been to them all, right?

All told there are two ramen places (Momofuku Noodle Bar and Ramen Lab), two appetizing stores (Barney Greengrass and Russ & Daughters Cafe), and two old-school red sauce Italian classics (Emilio's Ballato and Elio's). The rest are all over the place, but there is not a single vegan, cleansing, or even vegetable-forward place among them. GP has always loved to name-drop trendy restaurants and her chef buds, but does she realize that most people who go to Momofuku don't order their brussels sprouts without the bacon?
