Giant Olive Garden Truck Currently Hawking Free Breadstick Sandwiches in the Flatiron

If you like Olive Garden breadsticks and/or free food, this one's for you.

Facebook

Olive Garden has been unreasonably secretive about where it's monster of a food truck will stop on its grand breadstick-peddling tour, but today it's kicking things off right here in New York City. The truck is parked in the Flatiron (on Fifth Avenue, right outside the Flatiron Building) right now, handing out halves of the chain's new breadstick sandwiches and trying to make Breadstick Nation a thing. The truck is open until 2 p.m., and then again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., so if you have been wondering how that breadstick chicken parm actually tastes or just like free samples, get out there. From Facebook updates, they'll also be near Penn Station tomorrow, and in Times Square on Saturday.

It's also possible to just go to one of the Olive Gardens in Manhattan and order a breadstick sandwich for lunch, but then you have to pay.
