Seamore's, the summer fish spot from Meatball Shop co-owner Michael Chernow, is getting ready for its debut tonight on perhaps one of the nicest days of weather we're likely to have all summer. The restaurant has a seaside vibe with loads of natural light and touches of teal and turquoise, but the design gets a bit more modern with matte metal tables and a funky back wall that looks like a Southwestern-inspired mural. On another wall there's a helpful guide to fish shapes, names and flavors.

The main reason for that wall is to help diners pick their fish when ordering The Reel Deal, a platter of fish with a choice of sauce and sides like braised garlic greens, roasted squash with pumpkin seeds, and crispy snap peas. Also on the menu are fish tacos like one stuffed with spicy squid, and another with crispy fish, guac, chipotle mayo, and cabbage. There are a few salads and sandwiches options like a po' boy riff with crispy skate, special sauce, and pickled peppers, and a tuna burger. In the words of the menu, "finish strong" with soft-serve from OddFellows. Just one flavor at a time and to start, that flavor is coconut kaffir lime with coconut granola.
