James Murphy's Williamsburg Wine Bar Opens This Weekend

Natural wines, a full food menu, and the high possibility of a celebrity sighting.

Four Horsemen, the natural wine bar helmed by LCD Soundsystem frontman/food loving guy James Murphy, should explode onto the Williamsburg scene this weekend. According to the Times, the bar is set to open Sunday on Grand Street. When it does, it will serve not only a list of around 160 mostly natural wines, but also a full menu by Franny's alum Nick Curtola.

Murphy is more than just the money of this operation – as Flo Fab puts it, both menus are "shaped to his personal tastes," as is the playlist (obviously). The reservation policy is also allegedly to Murphy's tastes, but it's a little unclear what those tastes are. It may or may not mean that this place will be somewhere between very difficult and impossible to get into. Stay tuned for clarification.

Update: A representative says the reservation policy is simply that the bar takes reservations. But like any bar, it also happily takes walk-ins. So the most you'll have to contend with is the wait for a seat to open up.
