UPPER WEST SIDE — D.C.-based hit salad mini-chain Sweetgreen is moving into the former home of Fusha West at 311 Amsterdam Avenue. EAST VILLAGE — Bruno Pizza, the long anticipated pizzeria and tasting menu spot from restaurant designer Demian Repucci and the former Box Kite chefs Justin Slojkowski and Dave Gulino, is nearing an opening. Plywood is down and the team is Instagramming its pizza dough recipe testing. 204 East 13th Street. [PLYWOOD]

FORT GREENE — Neighborhood staple The Greene Grape is expanding its mini-empire with an ice cream shop called Greene Grape Scoops. The shop, which should open on June 24, will serve ice cream from several different local producers like Blue Marble, Adirondack Creamery, Ronnybrook and Phin & Phebes Ice Cream. EAST VILLAGE — Construction is underway at the downtown outpost of Ditmas Park's Mimi's Hummus. The team is also planning to bring its tahini-enriched bowls of hummus and fluffy pita to UrbanSpace Vanderbilt, just north of Grand Central. 245 East 14th Street. [EV Grieve]
