Al Fresco Drinking at Pearl & Ash; Pig Pickin' Party at Hill Country

BOWERY — Pearl & Ash is launching a patio tomorrow. There's seating for 16 and a Rose All Damn Day special, where the restaurant's team will be serving rose magnums from some of their favorite producers. [EaterWire]

FLATIRON and DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Hill Country Barbecue is launching a large format Pig Pickin' Party. The whole smoked hog is for 10 people and comes with sides and even gloves to help keep those hands clean. NOHO — Il Buco Alimentari is hosting a bread baking class on May 14 at lunchtime. Students will learn to make a ciabatta and rhubarb quick bread. The class costs $100 and obviously includes some sweet fresh bread. Call 212-837-2622 to make a reservation.

MIDTOWN WEST — Aldo Sohm Wine Bar is debuting a new late-night off-the-menu slow roasted lamb shoulder with garlic confit. The dish is a post 10 p.m. offering, so caff up in the afternoon.
