Ssam Bar's Serving a Limited-Time Burger; Genuine Superette Launches Breakfast

EAST VILLAGE — Momofuku Ssam Bar bought a half a steer from Good Farms and will be serving a few special dishes over the coming days, including a burger topped with bacon marmalade and cheddar. Also on the menu: a confit shank for 4-6 people with sunchokes and tatsoi. [EaterWire]

AROUND TOWN — City Harvest is aiming to raise $1 million with their Skip Lunch Fight Hunger fundraiser. From May 11 to 15, corporate teams in NYC can commit their funds normally spent on lunch towards helping combat childhood hunger. In exchange for a donation, participants will get lunch from a truck serving food made by Geoffrey Zakarian, Ivy Stark, and a handful of other celebrity chefs. Find out more information here.
