Hundreds of Wahlburgers Fans Line Up for Jobs at Coney Island Outpost

Sorry, no Donnie or Mark in sight.

The love of Wahlburgers (and let's face it, celebrity) runs deep in this town. Hundreds of people lined up yesterday in Coney Island vying for a job at NYC's first outpost of the Massachusetts chain/ A&E reality show subject. Perhaps people thought Donnie and brother Mark Wahlberg would be there (they weren't), or they just really want a summer job by the beach flipping burgers.

The outpost, which overlooks the Coney Island boardwalk and beach is slated to open next month. The massive space is almost 7,000-square-feet, and there's seating for 300, including on a rooftop patio and an indoor-outdoor bar, so the team will likely have to hire lots of those people who lined up. A release says they are looking for about 75 people. For those who still want to get in on the action, the job fair is going on today and tomorrow. Brace for lines.
