Dumbo Soon to Be Flooded with Fast Casual Lunch Chains

Riding the wave of the tech company influx.

With a few exceptions, Dumbo has always been a virtual no man's land for restaurants. Later this year, two developments will change that. Dos Toros, Dig Inn, and Untamed Sandwiches have signed leases in the buildings that Jared Kushner and Aby Rosen are currently converting into an office complex for tech companies, reports the Daily News. Blue Stone Lane coffee and a British-style pub are also going to settle down in the complex, which the developers have dubbed Dumbo Heights. Those spaces are slated to open by the end of the year.

Around the same time, Empire Stores at the top of Brooklyn Bridge Park and just around the corner from Dumbo Heights should make its debut. Vinegar Hill House and a Soho House-run outpost of Pizza East from London are signed for the space and so are a beer garden, rooftop restaurant, and French brasserie.
