John McDonald's Summery Sicilian Spot Sessanta Should Open in a Week

The Sixty Soho restaurant is still doing a bit of final hiring.

Downtown restaurant pro John McDonald (of Lure, Bowery Meat Company, and others) is staying hush hush on an opening date for his Sicilian/coastal Italian restaurant Sessanta in the Sixty Soho hotel, but an Instagram today (alongside a dish from chef Jordan Frosolone) says the restaurant is just a week away:

That timeline is on track with what the hotel told Eater earlier this month. As of this week, there were just a few positions to fill in the kitchen. Meanwhile, if you're wondering what the menu will be like, it looks like the whole thing is rapidly appearing on Instagram
