Jeremiah Stone and Fabian von Hauske, the dynamic duo behind LES upstart Contra, have been working hard on their new casual project, Wildair, just two doors up Orchard Street. Butcher paper is still covering the windows, but Contra fans can now follow along with menu development over on the restaurant's new Instagram account. So far, there's asparagus with caramelized cream, pasilla chile vinaigrette, and hazelnuts; and radishes with seaweed butter. It also looks like chairs have been moved in. Von Hauske tells Eater they're still looking to open before the end of the month.
