Early Saturday morning a car crashed into nine-year-old takeout spot New Hardee Chinese Restaurant in Bed-Stuy starting a three-alarm fire. Owner Zong Gang Zhu, who lives upstairs, told DNAinfo: "We were sleeping and heard a big noise and saw a car in our restaurant...Thankfully everyone was okay, that's all that matters. We are just waiting to see what happens with us next." For the time being, the Department of Buildings has issued a vacate order for the address and the passenger from the car is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
