Gabriel Kreuther's team has been keeping the doors of his upcoming eponymous restaurant in the Grace Building shut tight, letting only the smallest details slip out. But hiring for front of house positions is underway, and those doors should finally sometime June, according to a Kreuther rep.
The scant details about the high-end French-American restaurant that have managed to come to light are thus: Kreuther promises he'll serve his untouchable tarte flambe from his menu at the Modern, along with some new tarte flambes including one topped with uni and horseradish. The space will have lots of green tiling and "stork imagery," to symbolize rebirth.
