Porchlight Debuts Lunch This Week; Narcissa's Crawfish Boil

Plus, Do or Dine's Rub-A-Grub and Scarpetta's seventh birthday.

WEST CHELSEA — Danny Meyer's Porchlight is launching lunch this week. The bar's double trouble bison burger is available at midday alongside fried chicken salad, po' boys with fried shrimp, spicy chicken, or the daily special, and a pimento cheese sandwich with Zapp's potato chips. [EaterWire]

BED-STUY — Do or Dine and Sound Liberation Front are gearing up for their annual Rub-A-Grub backyard party on May 24. There will be live music and small plates including the restaurant's foie gras doughnuts. Advance tickets are $15 or $30 for VIP access, which includes two food items and two drinks. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE — Narcissa is hosting a Memorial Day weekend crawfish boil May 23-25, from noon to 8 p.m. The meal is casual (think newspaper covered tables) and includes grilled andouille sausage salad, crawfish pot, corn, and pecan pie.
