Khe-Yo Hosts Fundraiser for Nepal Relief; Cinnamon Snail Returns for One Night

EASTSIDE — Wellness in the Schools (WITS) is hosting its 10th anniversary gala at Riverpark on May 5. Through the program, NYC chef Bill Telepan develops school menus, trains cafeteria workers, and teaches cooking classes to school children and parents. The event will honor Sam Kass, who worked with Michelle Obama on her health initiatives, Lauren Bush Lauren of FEED, and several others who have worked to make a difference in the health and wellness fields.
