Kickstarter

GOWANUS — Newcomer Threes Brewing just launched a Kickstarter to raise funds to build a very green backyard. If the team reaches their $20,000 there will be apple trees and a pergola with hops growing on it. A cool video and details are this way. And, to celebrate the season (and that big unfinished outdoor space) the will be a crawfish boil with live music on May 3. Tickets are $25 and buy a bucket of crawfish and a pint of beer. EAST VILLAGE — Lunch counter legend B & H Dairy is getting back on its feet after the EV explosion forced it to shutter and will hopefully reopen later this week. But,, covering the cost of being closed for more than two weeks is a heavy burden. There's a new online fundraiser to help the team raise $20,000. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE — King Bee will launch its French Canadian and Louisiana inspired brunch this weekend. Menu options include a bruleed bread pudding with foie gras, rhubarb, cheddar, and maple syrup; eggs baked with a green herbed gumbo; and a crawfish benny with bearnaise sauce and an English muffin.
