Taste of 7th Street Will Benefit Explosion Victims; Stray Dogs Pops Up in Brooklyn

EAST VILLAGE — This year's Taste of 7th Street, an annual walking and eating tour, will raise funds to help those impacted by the recent 2nd Avenue explosion. Tickets cost $25 and include a tastes Luke's Lobster, Caracas Arepa Bar, Porchetta, Huertas, Butter Lane, and Big Gay Ice Cream. The festival runs throughout next weekend and tickets are available here. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross's relief efforts. [EaterWire]

SOUTH SLOPE — Portland's popular hot dog masters Stray Dogs are popping up at Lot 2 on April 13 from 6-11 p.m. The dogs, which are made by ex-New Yorkers, Peter Cho (The Breslin) and Johnny Leach (Ma Peche), are first come first served. [EaterWire]

GOWANUS — Beerded Ladies and Threes Brewing are hosting a night called Sisters in Craft that will celebrate women who work in the beer industry. Krista Kilberg of Women's Beer Society NYC, Heather McReynolds of Sixpoint Brewery, Kristen Demergian of Allagash Brewing Company, and more will be there.
