Dimes Packs Up Its Sunny Division Street Space Tonight and Moves to Canal

Say farewell to the teeny tiny slice of California on Division Street today. Beautiful people favorite Dimes is closing its doors after dinner tonight in preparation for its big move 299 feet down the street to 49 Canal Street. The restaurant will reopen in its new, roomier digs on Friday. The new location will offer a larger menu and, for the first time, alcohol, plus, with any luck, a slightly shorter wait for brunch. Once things settle down, the original location will be transformed into Dimes Superette, with a small produce selection and dry goods, food to go, and an in residence apothecary.
