2) EAST VILLAGE — The space that once held Northern Italian eatery Paprika is in the process of being sold. An EV Grieve tipster says the closure is due to a dispute between the landlord and the tenant. [EV Grieve]
3) TRIBECA — It turns out that those "temporarily closed" signs posted at Imperial Coffee House, are a little more permanent than anticipated. The diner has closed for good. No word yet on what will replace it. [Tribeca Citizen]
4) SOHO— All signs indicate that Iconic Café has closed its specialty coffee house on Lafayette Street. The phone line is off the hook, and the Foursquare listing marks the place as "closed." But there are plenty other places you can go in SoHo for an espresso, which might explain the abrupt closure. [Eaterwire]
5) ALPHABET CITY — The 175 Ave B space, that has housed numerous Italian eateries, including Uovo, Panicifico, Paolina just lost another one in Spina. The trattoria, known for its house-made pastas, had six year run. [EV Grieve]
6) ELMHURST — The nearly 50-year-old pizza chain Singas Famous Pizza has closed its Elmhurst outpost after the owners lost their lease. While the pizzeria, which specializes in Greek-style personal pan pies, has no immediate plans to reopen in the area, it still operates 15 other locations in Jersey. [DNAinfo]
7) LOWER EAST SIDE — Given the odd opening hours and desperate ploys like offering breakfast service, it's not a surprise that Douma Pizza has closed up shop. The pizzeria, which replaced Pizza Junkie when it shuttered in 2013, lasted less than two years. [Bowery Boogie]
