BBQ Blowout Returns With Greenpoint Fish & Lobster; Crawfish Boils at The Redhead

Plus, Emily is launching a chicken wings happy hour, and tickets for the Wine on Wheels benefit are now on sale.

WILLIAMSBURG — On May 12, Finger on the Pulse's summer BBQ Blowout series returns to Good Co. For the first one, Greenpoint Fish & Lobster will be serving grilled fish tacos and chips and salsa. As always, tickets are $10 in advancee or $15 at the door for a plate of food, a Brooklyn Brewery beer, and a shot of Jameson. The festivities (with a DJ) last from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. [Eaterwire]

EAST VILLAGE — The Redhead will be hosting crawfish boils for the first three Sundays in May. The party starts at noon and goes until to the restaurant sells out of food. [Eaterwire]

CLINTON HILL Emily is launching "Hot Nguyen Happy Hour" this week. $10 buys you pecorino and chives-topped chicken wings served with buttermilk ranch mint sauce. Happy hour goes from Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until they run out. [Eaterwire]

HUDSON SQUARE – The fourth annual Wine on Wheels benefit takes place on May 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at City Winery. The event, co-founded by sommelier Yannick Benjamin, includes seminars, tastings of over 175 wines served by more than 50 New York sommeliers, and a silent auction, and all proceeds benefit Wheeling Forward, a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities. General admission is $95, while a full access pass to all the seminars is $350, and an early access ticket costs $150. All can be purchased online.
