Bushwick: Jason Merritt, Lucas Walters, and Myriah Pahl will open a Chicago style deep dish pizza spot called Pipsqueak behind their very Brooklyn restaurant Tutu's. There will be a full bar with a focus on natural wines, and seating for about 30. The pizzeria is slated to open in June. [PLYWOOD]

Tribeca: Austrian chain Martin Auer Bakehouse is moving in at 249 Church Street. There are already 29 locations in Austria, but this will be the first U.S. outpost. It looks like the locations are part bakery, part cafe, with sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and coffee. [Tribeca Citizen]

Lower East Side: Munchies haven Insomnia Cookies is moving into the tiny space where taco shack Snack Dragon used to sit on Orchard Street. Cookies sound like the perfect party fuel. [BB]

Harlem: The old Perks space at the corner of 123rd and Manhattan Avenue sat empty for years, but the facade and interior were recently made over and a restaurant called Lulu's Taqueria is getting ready to move in with its liquor license in place. An opening should come in about a week. [Harlem + Bespoke]
