Wahlburgers, the Massachusetts-based burger chain/A & E reality show subject founded by actor Mark Wahlberg's brother Paul, is getting ready to open its first New York location at 3015 Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island this summer. Although it won't be open by May 1, as originally promised, it should make its debut by June. The 6,800 square foot restaurant and bar, owned by Mark, Paul, and their other brother, Donnie Wahlberg, along with franchisee John Cestare, of Big Apple Burgers, will overlook Coney Island's boardwalk and beach, and seat a whopping 300 people, plus feature a rooftop patio with a retractable glass roof and an indoor-outdoor bar. It will serve breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m., but morph into a more active scene after dark, with DJ's and live music. The menu, created by Paul Wahlberg, should be similar to the one at the original Wahlburgers in Hingham, MA, and includes a variety of regular burgers, plus a turkey burger, and a fish sandwich. The dessert section has some beachy offerings, such as frappes and orange mango soda.

When it opens, this will be the third outpost in the Wahlburgers empire, but by no means the last. The team are on the brink of a massive expansion, with plans to open at least 27 more locations in the next few years, seven of those in New York. In the meantime, Eater got ahold of the renderings of the monster Coney Island location. Take a look:
