The windows at Grand Army — the cocktail and raw bar from Mile End owner Noah Bernamoff, master drink mixer Damon Boelte, Ruccola's Julian Brizzi, and photographer Daniel Krieger — have been covered up with brown paper for several weeks, but when a piece of it fell down this weekend, an Eater tipster managed to snap a slightly hazy photo of the inside. It looks like things are about ready to go, art is up on the walls, bar stools are moved in, and the floor looks like it might be from a barn (this is Brooklyn after all).
And, it looks like the bar might even be open, though it might just be for friends and family.
Eater is reaching out to the team.
