Burger Chain Fact Blast: The Last McDonald's Town House in NYC

In the early days, a McDonald's without a drive-through was a rare thing.

The first McDonald's outposts in New York City were referred to as "Town Houses," to differentiate them from the suburban drive-throughs that the chain started out as. There's still one McDonald's that bears the Town House signage out in Forest Hills.
