Burger Chain Fact Blast: NYC's Biggest Burger Chains, by the Numbers

There are more than twice as many McDonald's in New York City as there are Burger Kings. To be more precise, there are around 219 McDonald's scattered across the the five boroughs (based on numbers gleaned from Yelp), while Burger Kings number around 82.

There are also about half as many Wendy's (about 41 total) as there are Burger Kings, about half as many Five Guys (around 22) as there are Wendy's, and about half as many Shake Shacks (12) as there are Five Guys.
