BOERUM HILL — Ganso Yaki, Harris Salat and Tadashi Ono's Japanese street food spot that opened just last month, is now offering lunch on the weekends. In addition to several dinner items, the lunch menu also includes midday-exclusive bento boxes, featuring Japanese fried chicken, whole grilled Japanese squid, or garlic-chili-soy marinated short rib, each served with a seaweed salad, hot tofu, and grilled rice balls. Lunch runs on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. [EaterWire]
MIDTOWN — The terrace at SixtyFive, the cocktail bar next to the Rainbow Room atop 30 Rock, is now open for business. Cocktails start at $20, but as Gothamist points out, the views are essentially the same as what you'll see from the Top of the Rock, minus the $30 price tag. Reservations are not accepted, but walk-ins are welcome from 5 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday. [Gothamist]
LOWER EAST SIDE — Danny Bowien just tweeted that Mission Cantina is offering $1 tacos tonight for one hour only, from 5-6 p.m. No word yet on if this is just a one-night-only event. [@dannybowien]
