EAST VILLAGE — French Louis alum chef Ian Alvarez is serving a five course rosé dinner on April 30 at his new restaurant Bara. Dishes are inspired by southern France and include poached lobster with artichokes and black trumpet mushrooms, rabbit in a vanilla broth, and rose water macarons. WILLIAMSBURG — DuMont Burger is adding a new burger to its menu this week, just in time for burger week. The "classic" comes with onion bacon jam, lettuce, pickle, tomato, and a special sauce made with cornichons and green peppercorns. [EaterWire]
