After shuttering the subterranean Arrow Bar in January, the team behind Williamsburg music staple Baby's All Right is relaunching the East Village spot as Elvis Guesthouse. This is one of those places with an elaborate, made-up back story, and that back story goes like this: After Elvis faked his death, he headed to the far east and shacked up in a guest house before opening one of his own. The space is part bar, part music venue. "It's not set up to be a music venue...But that said, there'll be some concerts there," co-owner Zachary Mexico told Bedford + Bowery, saying the space: "feels more like a living room...Or a random hotel in Kathmandu," where a band that's staying there decided to jam in the lobby. The bar officially reopens March 14 with a pretty varied music lineup.
