Mas (Farmhouse) Celebrates 11 Years; Claudette Debuts Outdoor Seating

WEST VILLAGE — Mas (farmhouse) is celebrating its 11th birthday with a throwback menu available throughout April. The six-course $105 menu includes dishes like tuna l'occidental, braised short ribs with butternut squash risotto, and chocolate hazelnut cremeaux. The regular dinner menu will also be available. WILLIAMSBURG — Humboldt & Jackson and the Brooklyn Brewery will be hosting "From the Past: A dinner Series" that will focus on different points in history. First up, a dinner inspired by Dutch colonists of the 1650's. Expect venison tartare, and hotchpot with smoked salt pork. GREENWICH VILLAGE — After a battle with neighbors (and some drama in the kitchen), Claudette will debut its outdoor seating on Wednesday. [EaterWire]

FIDI — The Dead Rabbit is celebrating Easter with an Easter Bonnet Contest on April 5 at 5 p.m. The winner will get a $100 gift certificate. There will also be Easter fare and eggnog cocktails throughout the day and live Irish music from 6-10 p.m. [EaterWire]
