Even though wd~50 sadly closed back in November, Wylie Dufresne wants to keep his cerebral tasting menu game sharp. So, he's putting on a four-week dinner series at his more casual restaurant, Alder, called "Test Kitchen Tuesdays." The $55 four-course menu will give Dufresne and chef Ryan Henderson a chance to workshop new dish ideas for the restaurant. First up, a menu that includes boudin corn dogs with Meyer lemon mustard and roasted poblanos, as well as a Irish coffee pudding for dessert. The dinner series starts next Tuesday and reservations can be made by calling 212-539-1900.
