Park Slope Is Getting a Chipotle; Mexicue Kitchen & Bar Opening NoMad Outpost

Plus, a Greek restaurant called Kiki's is moving in on the LES.

NoMad: The popular Mexican truck Mexicue Kitchen & Bar, is almost ready to debut its third brick and mortar location at 225 Fifth Avenue. Plywood is up and the restaurant is expected open next month. [PLYWOOD]

Park Slope: Chipotle is planning its first location in Park Slope. The chain has leased a space on 185 Seventh Avenue near Second Street. That and the Blue Bottle opening down the block show times they are a changin' for the neighborhood. [DNAinfo]

Lower East Side: The husband-wife team who used to own Souvlaki GR are getting back into the game with a new Greek restaurant called Kiki's at 130 Division Street. Construction was finished a few days ago, so expect an opening sometime soon. [Bowery Boogie]

Tribeca: North End Grill has plans to open an outdoor bar in the storage room that's between the restaurant's bar and the dining room. Expect an opening when the weather warms up. [Tribeca Citizen]

Hunters Point: The owner of the popular LIC Bar is opening a gastropub called The Gantry LIC in the former Communitea space. Plywood is up at the 47-02 Vernon Boulevard address. [DNAinfo]

Hudson Heights: The Rusty Mackerel had to close in the fall after less than a year of business due to "financial and management issues," but the owners want to re-open the restaurant with a new chef. And it looks like they're succeeding — they got unanimous approval for their liquor license renewal at a community board meeting last week. Expect a re-opening as soon as April 1st. [DNAinfo]

FiDi: A third location of Naya Express, the fast-casual Lebanese restaurant is in the works for One New York Plaza. The team is still in the process of getting permits for construction, which should begin shortly. [PLYWOOD]

Lower East Side: Foundation Nightclub has been re-christened Mazaar Bar & Lounge, an equally clubby spot, that just finished its renovation. The Middle Eastern lounge seems ready to open, even though the liquor license is still pending approval. [Bowery Boogie]
