Wassail Will Start Pouring Ciders on the LES Before the End of the Month

Jennifer Lim and Ben Sandler, the husband and wife team behind Queens Kickshaw, are almost ready to debut Wassail, the city's first and only cider bar, on the Lower East Side. Lim tells Eater that staff training starts this Friday, and opening parties will be held on March 22 and 23. Menus still aren't public, but the food will be vegetarian and "cider-focused," says Sandler, meaning "Every dish is prepared with cider in mind and is sometimes prepared with cider." Stay tuned.
