Kosher food vendor Jonathan Katz is suing the Mets for $1 million over his right to sell Italian ice. Katz claims in the suit that he had a written deal with the team to sell kosher Italian ices at the stadium for 10 years, according to the Post. The deal was supposedly inked in 2007 and Katz alleges that the team backed out abruptly — with no explanation. This isn't the first time Katz is suing the Mets. A few years ago he sued the team over the right to sell kosher hot dogs at Citi Field on the Jewish Sabbath and ultimately lost.
