Hearth's Cicchetti Sundays; Ecuadorian Dinner at Jimmy's No. 43

EAST VILLAGE — Hearth is hosting Cicchetti Sundays, a dinner series inspired by the signature snacks of Venice. The three course dinner includes bites of baccala mantecato fritters, beef tartare, lamb ribs, and hazelnut cannoli. Dinner is $50, with an extra $20 for beverage pairings. [EaterWire]

EAST VILLAGE — Humberto Guallpa, the chef of Calle Dao, is hosting a $45 5-course Ecuadorian dinner this Sunday at Jimmy's 43. Dishes include peekytoe crab with passion fruit and tangerine, ceviche with tomate de arbol, and a festival dish of bacalao, green olives, green beans, and fava. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN — Benoit's beverage director Guillem Kerambrun is launching a three month program called The French Touch that will highlight three French vintners all producing in the U.S. Each month there will be a special dinner for one of the wine makers.
