Shanna Pacifico (formerly of Back Forty) will be parting ways with her business partners and shuttering her eponymous, solo venture Pacifico's Fine Foods this coming Friday. The restaurant Brazilian-inflected restaurant announced its closure in an email to followers on Saturday. Eater got a few more details from Pacifico, who explained that the restaurant "struggled in the first year" and that her partners "want to turn the place into an Italian restaurant," a revamp she was not interested in sticking around for. Pacifico will, however, stay in the restaurant business, even if it remains unclear where she lands next. A few "tearful" customers have already stopped by for one last helping of feijoada before the restaurant closes on Friday, February 27th.
