HELLS KITCHEN — Ample Hills is looking for some inspiration for a new flavor for its forthcoming stall at Gotham West. Here are the details:

DELIVERY WIRE — Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. is planning to launch an on-demand seafood delivery program this spring. Those who want in, can sign up for beta testing here. [EaterWire]

LOWER EAST SIDE — Fung Tu is celebrating the Chinese New Year from February 17 to March 5 with a few special dishes including scallop wontons in a celery mushroom broth and a Chinese "porchetta" made with pork knuckles that are braised in a sauce of soy, ginger, star anise, and chillies. EAST VILLAGE — Jimmy's No. 43 is holding a hot dog competition on February 15. Guests will try the Mexi-dog, the god morgen dog, and the hot Hanoi and vote for their favorite. Ultimately, one dog will declared king. Tickets are $22. [EaterWire]
