resident hottie and co-owner Michael Chernow is planning a new sustainable seafood restaurant called Seamore, which he plans to approach with the same focus on inexpensive, simple dining that turned TMS into an unstoppable, meatball-focused empire. As Bowery Boogie reports, he's already inked a lease in Little Italy, and is currently applying for a full liquor license. In his application to Community Board 2, Chernow promises close at a decent hour and to show some lovin' towards "less branded species" from Montauk like skate, monkfish, squid, and porgy, to help keep prices down. He's still waiting on approval, but given his track record with The Meatball Shop, he's likely to score that license. Meanwhile, he'll be taking a back seat in the day-to-day Meatballers operations so he can focus on Seamore, leaving the ever capable Daniel Holtzman to captain the ship by himself.
