Chef Sohui Kim and her husband/partner Ben Schneider of Red Hook favorite The Good Fork opened their Korean barbecue restaurant and karaoke lounge Insa on Tuesday. The highly anticipated restaurant at 328 Douglass St. serves traditional Korean barbecue on custom-made grill tables, with classic meat options like brisket, pork belly, and marinated short ribs.

Kim hasn't skimped on the banchan — or side dishes — that come with an order of grilled meat either. She's offering more than a dozen of them, including three kinds of kimchee, pickled beef & peppers, savory steamed eggs, and kabocha squash. Other a la carte items will be familiar to fans of The Good Fork, such as dumplings, kimchi pancakes, and blood sausages.

The restaurant has 100 seats and a 36-seat bar, plus five karaoke rooms in the back, with individual themes like psychedelic, jungle, deep sea, and space. Those stopping in just to sing can order bar snacks and tiki cocktails with Korean influences. Check out the full menu below, and drop us a line if you try it:
