David Bouhadana was the big draw at Sushi Dojo in the East Village. But the chef was booted from the restaurant after a recent closure by the DOH, and now that establishment doesn't have quite the same appeal. It's just not a sure thing any more. And so, the Eater 38 editorial brain trust has decided to drop Sushi Dojo from the map. Taking its place is the excellent Tori Shin on West 53rd Street, which Ryan Sutton recently called "New York's finest yakitori joint." Those grilled chicken parts are superb, and the omakase experience is totally unique. The map has been updated to reflect this change. If you have any suggestions for adds or drops to the 38, as always, please let us know your thoughts.
