Tonight, Emily Seaman, the co-chef at Philadelphia hit Dizengoff, will be running the specials board at Brooks Headley's wildly popular vegetable-centric restaurant Superiority Burger. The chef is serving a "Jerusalem mixed grill" mushroom sandwich, whole baby sweet potatoes, and hummus with avocado and peanut harrisa. All of these dishes are "accidentally vegan." As you may recall, LA superstar Jessica Koslow did a similar one-night-only menu board take-over a few weeks ago.
Dizengoff's other co-chef/co-owner Michael Solmonov signed a lease on a space in Chelsea Market with partner Steve Cook las month. The original Philadelphia restaurant specializes in set meals of hummus, salad, pickles, and pita bread. If you happen to stop by Superiority Burger tonight, let us know what you think about the collaboration.
