Quality Eats opens tonight in the space that last housed the ill-fated Whitehall. The restaurant is a more casual and affordable extension of the Quality brand from Michael Stillman and the Fourth Wall group (Smith & Wollensky, Maloney & Porcelli, Quality Meats.) The goal is to provide a steak restaurant experience with a $50 check average. The beef heavy-menu from chef Ryan Bartlow (formerly of Frankies 457 and Alinea) does indeed keep entrees in the mid $20 price range and moves beyond the rote steakhouse options. Check out the menu below and stay tuned for a tour of the space later this week.
