The owners of seven-month-old Soho restaurant Black Tap have opened a second branch of the burger pub in the Meatpacking District. While the original is an intimate, tightly packed space with a handful of stools, the new locations is ambitiously large with seating for 40 in the main bar and a back area, with room length banquets and 14 additional tables. The food menu has been pared down for opening, but will eventually be the same as the downtown location. There is a full liquor service and over 20 beers on offer.
