In addition to being one of the best places in New York for craft cocktails and shellfish, Maison Premiere has one of the city's most stylish barrooms. It evokes New Orleans around the turn of the century, or perhaps 1920s Paris. It's one of the best date night restaurants in North Brooklyn, and it's a very fun space to enjoy a few potent cocktails with friends. Here's what the scene looked like at the bar around 6:30 p.m. on a recent Monday evening.
