Monday Night at Williamsburg's Perennial Charmer, Maison Premiere

Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's greatest bars and restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. As a Cocktail Week special, Krieger fixes his lens on Maison Premiere.

In addition to being one of the best places in New York for craft cocktails and shellfish, Maison Premiere has one of the city's most stylish barrooms. It evokes New Orleans around the turn of the century, or perhaps 1920s Paris. It's one of the best date night restaurants in North Brooklyn, and it's a very fun space to enjoy a few potent cocktails with friends. Here's what the scene looked like at the bar around 6:30 p.m. on a recent Monday evening.
