Like a '90s SoCal Dream, Martignetti Brothers to Open Pizza Beach on the Upper East Side

The Martignetti brothers, who own Brinkley's and East Pole, are planning to open what they are calling a healthy pizzeria. Like something straight out of '90s Malibu, Pizza Beach is slated to open uptown on January 21 with a menu of vegetable-topped pizzas and a beachy theme (still unclear if they're talking Hamptons or island style). "Whilst pizza is in the name, the restaurant is more about bringing health- and value-oriented dining to the UES" says Tom Martignetti. No word yet on the actual menu, but a rep promises it will offer pizzas that are "nutritionally dense." The better for working on that beach bod, of course.
