Baz Bagel Hosts Bingo Nights; Schnack Makes a One-Night Comeback

Plus lamb and Bordeaux at DBGB, and a 19th century New Orleans feast at Chapter One.

NOLITA – Baz Bagel recently started hosting bingo nights. Dates are announced a week in advance, and the next one is taking place on Wednesday the 14 at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are required. The restaurant will also host private bingo parties for groups of 25 to 35 people. [EaterWire]

PROSPECT HEIGHTS – Schnack, the well-loved and now-shuttered Red Hook burger joint, is returning in the form of a one-night-only dinner at Spirited. Schnack's former co-owner, Harry Hawk, will serve a five-course meal that includes meatloaf, bacon and slaw, and beer shakes, for $50 per person ($40 if you buy within the next two days). WEST VILLAGE – Chef Warren Baird is serving a 19th century New Orleans-themed dinner at Chapter One on January 18 at 7 p.m. The dinner is $39 per person, and includes oyster loaf, family-style gumbo with chicken, beef, and andoille, and a sazerac to drink, among other things.
