Santina, the Next Torrisi Team Blockbuster, Starts Serving Seafood Beneath the High Line on Monday

The Meatpacking District restaurant allegedly has only one red meat option on the menu.

Turns out that Santina, this season's team Torrisi blockbuster, is opening a little earlier than expected. Instead of waiting until next Thursday, Rich Torrisi, Mario Carbone, and Jeff Zalaznick will open the doors to their glass-enclosed seafood restaurant beneath the High Line on Monday.

On top of that, Grub Street gets a few details on what that coastal Italian menu will include. There will be chickpea flour pancakes, turkey meatballs, agrodolce-glazed octopus spiedini, and rice "dressed like pasta." There will not be a lot of red meat options – in fact, only one, a dry-aged T-bone steak. Of course.
