Williamsburg Dive Trash Bar Confirms Its Move East to Bushwick, Where the 'Creativity' Is

The 10 year-old music venue is closing

Divey South Williamsburg music venue Trash Bar confirms on Facebook that it has, as hoped, found a new home in Bushwick. Time Out first reported that the bar was being forced out of its home of 10 years shortly before New Year's, but at the time was uncertain whether it would relocate. Shortly after, however, the bar noted that it has "definitive plans" to reopen in Bushwick, though it won't yet say where. The owner explains that, while Williamsburg develops (and gets more expensive) by the day, the bar is "following the flow of creativity as it's pushed ever further east." The original location will most likely close in March.
