The Columbus Circle outpost of A Voce has lost more than its Michelin star this year. The high end Italian restaurant, which was closed for months after a fire this past spring, and got yet another executive chef, Riccardo Bilotta, in October, has just suffered a staff exodus. General manager Louis Andia has left to manage the soon-to-open Lincoln Square Steak on West 70th Street, and at least 10 front of the house restaurant workers are said to be following him there. The exact reason for the en masse departure is unclear, but clearly something is up. No doubt the loss of the star was disheartening, but are they just frustrated, or do they know something we don't?
